Deflowering

Over the next few days I'm going to post images to the book The Recently Deflowered Girl by Hyacinthe Phyppe. I forget exactly where I first found the images, if I remember I'll be sure to credit the person right away. I'm going to skip over the cover and interior introduction for now and post them at the end.

It always pays to have moms. I know this is a day late for mother's day, but it's true nonetheless no matter what day it is.

Moms make great advertisers (be doubly sure to supply them with tons of business cards.) June saw my floral art jewelry that my mother was wearing and inquired about it. You know how that went.

I've been busy working on new pieces. Lots of bright colors for summer. Yellows and purples and blues. I've also done a few custom pieces. I'd like to take a moment and share a comment from the woman who bought one drawn in two colors (three if you count the white of the paper) for Mother's Day:



"I love the artwork you did with the pendent and I love the color and the frame. Thank you so much."

Next time I will share the photos of a mother with her daughter showing off the daughter's new pendants.
